I'm interested in working with S4, what should I expect?

You want to work with S4? That's sounds great. There are a few things that you should know before you reach out.

First, should you decide to reach out to us for help, you'll likely have the best luck filling out a Contact Form to inquire about S4 helping you with your needs. That submission will go into our CRM and we'll reach out to you to set up a time to have an introductory call. You can always call us at 904-399-3219 but plan on leaving a message.

Note: Because we're largely remote, we don't have anyone monitoring incoming calls to our main line. If you leave a message, the proper team members will be notified and will call you back, but digital engagement is likely the best way to start the process.

First Touch

Our first call will be high level. We'll talk about your needs, what's working, what's not working, and what your high-level goals are for an engagement with S4. Typically, these calls can be between 30 minutes to an hour and all we're trying to achieve is an understanding if we'd be a good fit for your organization. We'll set up a Microsoft Teams meeting so we can see your face and get to know each other. Even though we may be working miles apart we love having relationships with our clients.

Scoping and Estimating

On larger or more complicated engagements, it's likely that we'll have to perform a Discovery to assess the current conditions and inform our path forward. For smaller projects, we can usually ballpark it to at least set the expectations for investment. If you need hard and fast numbers, we'll have to do a lot of research and that would be part of a paid discovery process. Keep in mind that S4's agency services are all bespoke and tailored to our client's exact needs so there's not much "off the shelf" that is easy to estimate on a phone call.

Quotes

S4 will do our best to define the scope of the work and deliver a quote to you for authorization. In digital, there are MANY moving parts, and we tend to not rigidly scope fixed-fee projects because conditions change so often that it's not worth keeping up with the change orders and creates an inherently inflexible process when we really need to be open to all possibilities and not be limiting our creative direction when solving complex problems.

The quote that is delivered to you is typically a good-faith estimate. If things change, we communicate to you early and often to ensure that we can stay on course and get to the finish line of the project.

The Nitty Gritty

Once you approve the quote, that let's our team know that you're ready to get started. We'll jump through some administrative hoops such as getting legal documents signed and collect deposits or initial payments. After that, we jump straight into project management and planning to get all of the tasks documented and estimated by the team. Then, all that is left is to hit the big green GO button and start working collaboratively with you and your team to achieve success.

Timeline

From start to finish, the process shouldn't take more than 30-45 days to get started. In extreme cases, we can fast track the sales process but take into consideration that we're juggling multiple clients, projects, and timelines so any expedited process needs to be carefully considered.

Thank you! We look forward to hearing from you regarding your digital needs!
